ADPR 4300 — Class Reflection

Over the course of the semester, I enjoyed learning about social media through this class. This semester was so different because of COVID compared to past college semesters. I looked forward to Tuesday afternoons because I actually got to leave my house and go to a class in person.

One of the main reasons I took this class was because of Professor Moyer and her profession. Seeing her passion for the Milwaukee Brewers and how much she loved her job made me even more excited to work in the sports industry. Before this semester, I already knew I wanted to work for a professional sports team, but hearing about all the work Professor Moyer got to do made me even more excited. She really seems like she loved her time with the Brewers and found a community that has become a family.

Another reason I took this class was to discover if social media would be a career I would potentially be interested in. I definitely would be interested in exploring social media career opportunities in the sports industry because of everything I learned this semester. I feel my knowledge about social media has expanded greatly and am curious to know even more.

Overall, I really enjoyed this class and felt that it was beneficial for my college experience. The assignments were not difficult to complete and expanded my knowledge in the topics we discussed in class. I would definitely recommend this class with Professor Moyer if you have an interest in social media or the sports industry!
